Cedars High Heworth is based at our newly developed site in High Heworth, formerly Colegate Primary School.

 

This purpose-adapted environment provides an ideal setting for learners in Key Stages 3 to 5, supporting their journey towards greater independence and adult life.

 

Our location in a residential community allows students to safely access local amenities, workplaces, and leisure spaces. These experiences help develop key life skills, including travel training, social interaction, and real-world problem solving.

 

Every student at Cedars High Heworth takes part in work experience as part of their programme. For learners pursuing independence and employability pathways, we also provide access to our on-site social enterprise outlet - a working environment where learners can build confidence and gain practical skills in customer service, catering, and money management.
